Meet The Team
Stela Danaj
Meet Stela Danaj, our dedicated pharmacist and pharmacy manager at Wholehealth Pharmacy Whitby! Stela holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Toronto and an Honours Biology degree from McMaster University. She is deeply passionate about her profession, embracing the unique ability of pharmacists to be accessible healthcare providers ready to assist patients whenever they need support.
Stela’s diverse experience includes work with the Ajmera Transplant Centre at Toronto General Hospital, supporting patients with addiction and mental health challenges from CAMH, and serving various community pharmacies across the GTA.
Outside the pharmacy, Stela enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and traveling with her partner. As a proud Whitby resident, she’s an avid supporter of local businesses, from Sheridan Nurseries and Vandermeer Nursery to the Village Bake Shop and Whitby Farmers Market.

Zaijah Thomas
Meet Zaijah Thomas! Zaijah graduated from the University of Toronto in 2023 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Western University, where she majored in Medical Sciences. Passionate about the evolving role of pharmacists, she is thrilled to practice in a time of expanding scope and opportunities in pharmacy. She is dedicated to applying her education to deliver exceptional healthcare to her community.
Since becoming a licensed pharmacist, she has gained valuable experience working in independent community pharmacies across York Region and Simcoe County, providing patient-centered care in diverse settings.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, watching Disney movies, and caring for her extensive plant collection.

Jasmin Echevarri
Meet Jasmin Echevarri! Jasmin is our dedicated pharmacy assistant here at Wholehealth Pharmacy Whitby. Originally from the Philippines, she moved to Canada in 2006 and pursued her passion for healthcare, graduating from the Pharmacy Technician Program at Centennial College in 2012.
With over 12 years of experience in pharmacies across the GTA, Jasmin takes pride in providing compassionate care and making a positive difference in the lives of her patients.
A proud Whitby resident for more than a decade, Jasmin loves spending her free time baking, gardening, and painting. Her creativity and warmth shine through in everything she does, both at work and at home.
